Fourth Annual Matthew Stuski Golf Outing Benefiting Philadelphia Young Playwrights Monday,
October 26, 2009.

Our oldest son, Matt, died suddenly in 2003, our family was devastated and our hearts were broken. We decided to honor Matt's memory by raising funds for Philadelphia Young Playwrights because of their mission of inspiring students, our personal involvement with this organization and in recognition of Matt's desire to be a teacher.

Our family was overwhelmed after Matt's passing by the support of our friends, co-workers, business associates and the community. Contributions to Philadelphia Young Playwrights made in Matt's honor at the time of his death were a genuine source of comfort for us. Those gifts in memory of Matt brought the Young Playwright's program to hundreds of children in city schools that would not have had the opportunity to benefit from such a positive experience.

Young Playwrights taps the potential of youth and inspires learning through playwriting. Primary among Young Playwright's guiding values is that every student has something to say worth hearing. Creating a golf outing in Matt's name is a way for our family to support others. In Matt's honor, we want to provide schools with this worthwhile program that enables students to have a voice.

The golf outing will be fun, good food and a chance to win prizes. Your participation will help to provide young students an opportunity to share their voice.
